What Is Creakinism?
Creakinism in a Nut Shell
Many people ask what it is when they are confronted by a new religion. But there is no easy way to answer this.
Creakinism is the belief in the Gods and the different aspects that they bring, such as codes and laws handed down by either the Gods themselves or the Highest Priestess (see creakin society)
Aspects like Ingenzah, the island. Creakins believe that the Gods are in everything you do, so daily life is lived some what by the Gods.
There are Creakin Families called Kleshues. There are four of them The Moon or Blue Kleshue, the Sun or Red Kleshue, the Star or Yellow Kleshue, and the Tree or Green Kleshue. These aren't so much biological families, more like a group of Creakins that have much in common and have formed tight bonds with each other. Kleshues are really the human support that Creakins need. A being part of a specific Kleshue is not passed down from parent to child. Until they are 13th years old, a Creakin child is in the Night or Black Kleshue. On their 13th birthday they have the option of choosing a Kleshue for themselves. But they do not have to. They are aloud to remain in the Night Kleshue until their 17th birthday. A Creakin doesn’t have to join a Kleshue, but on their 17th birthday they disjoin the Night Kleshue.
There is also a certain Creakin Society. The Creakin religion is more then just a belief, it is a way of life, a community; a family. This society is based around the gods and the Creakin Religion; this allows somewhat equal ground amongst the Creakins.
Being a Creakin is even more then a society and a belief in the Gods. It is also a code of conduct. There are rules and Laws Creakins follow. The Unbreakables are believed to be a group of laws set by the Gods themselves, thus making them unbreakable. Creakin's lives are formed by these rules. It is believed that if you break one of the God laws you are sent from the Gods sight and protection, therefore being banned from the Creakin Religion. You can still worship, but you are not recognized as a Creakin by others or the gods. There is a way to "repent". But you need a High Priestess’s help, and approval by her Majesty. Many non-Creakin's wonder why a Creakin would choose this lifestyle; to follow the gods, and be bound by these laws. But these laws make Creakins some of the most trust worthy and honorable people in the world. These laws are not placed lightly, since the Gods know that all the Creakins will follow no matter what. The Unbreakables are designed to make us better, stronger people; and to guard the honor and innocence of their people.
There are quite a few details and special training that goes into Creakinism and it usually takes about a year to fully grasp the many levels that create the Creakin Religion. Things like the UnderGods, the prayers. There is one concept that makes many shy away from this way of life; Magik.
Magik is part of a Creakin’s everyday life, just like the Gods (and UnderGods) are. You will be very hard pressed to find a Creakin that, when asked if they have used Magik today; will say no (unless it’s 1 o’clock in the morning, and even then…). Creakin Magik isn’t what many imagine. It isn’t the sit down with all you ingredients and draw your pentacle (sorry Wiccan’s, I mean no slight!)(FYI, a pentacle is a highly respected symbol in Creakinism!). Creakin Magik is more of a prayer, a willing and an asking of a curtain something to happen or not happen. It’s very hard to explain, and often takes many lesson to even begin to understand and use Magik.
While that kind of Magik is specific to creakins; creakins can preform Magik using other methods.
