Rules and Laws
While Creakinism is very forgiving in some aspects, there are curtain rules and laws that a Creakin follows.
There is a big difference between Rules and Laws. A rule is something a Creakin follows, not because she/he HAS to, but because it's something she/he believes is right. Quite like a code of conduct. You won't be punished by the Gods for it, but other Creakins might frown upon your behavior.
A law is something that is set down to help keep Creakins in line in a way. These are punishable by the Gods and by the Creakin government.
The Creakin government is the religious leaders. There are law makers that are high priests and so on. Most laws are set by the government.
The Unbreakables
The Unbreakables are God Laws. Laws that are believed to be set down by the Gods themselves, thus making them unbreakable. There are seven unbreakables. There are actually other God Laws, but, while breaking them will have you severely punished, they will not have you banished. To break an unbreakable law, is to be exiled and to be shunned by the Gods. The seven unbreakables are as followed:
Unbreakable # 1
Thou shall share a bed, with one true partner, and only under the gods’ agreeing eyes, may one show their true love. Of six years you burn with life, and on the sixth, the gods relent and love sons may freely seek.Unbreakable
This, in kind of lamin terms, is translated as you are not allowed to share your bed until you are married. and when I say "shared" i mean sexual intercorse, you can sleep in the same bed! This is the hardest rule to follow in today's society. There is another part saying men are allowed to legally break this rule at the age of 23.
